Head of Department

Dr. Rana Fathi Farhan is the head of the Architecture Engineering Department (DARE). Her leadership philosophy is based on a practical approach to the Architecture Engineering programme and a value for inclusive teamwork in order to lead a department with a common goal strategy. In 2020, she received her PhD in Philosophy of Architectural Sciences from the University of Sulaimani. In 2009, Dr. Farhan received her Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Architectural Engineering from the University of Sulaimani. Her research focused on the theory of Kurdish architecture.
