Basic Courses (B)
The undergraduate architecture engineering program is designed to provide you with a solid foundation. Basic courses within the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Region, where these courses are considered university requirements for the first stages in universities, and these courses are Kurdistan Studies, English language, Computer skills, and Academic debates, where students must complete the requirements for success in these courses in the first and second stages in universities.
Relevance Courses (R)
You should have a thorough understanding of fundamental science in engineering disciplines as a College of Engineering compulsory course before diving into your rigorous architecture engineering courses throughout your junior and senior years. engineering drawing, technical English, mathematics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, engineering mathematics, material strength, and mechanics and engineering statistics are just a few examples of crucial disciplines to learn.
Core Courses (C)
The Department of Architecture Engineering needed core courses to introduce you to a body of information and fundamental skills that you must master if you want to be a successful petroleum engineer. We focus on ....
Elective Courses (E)
Elective courses provide you the freedom to choose and choose courses that meet a specific educational requirement, as well as allow you to pursue new interests and acquire desirable employment skills and talents. The entire list of offered classes may be seen on a DARE program sheet.
The architecture engineering degree program prepares students for professional practice in construction related careers after the bachelor's degree or an advanced degree. Architecture engineering graduates are expected to attain the following capabilities at or within a few years of graduation: apply the fundamentals of science and engineering to solve important architecture engineering problems in construction industry, government or academic settings; communicate effectively and demonstrate the interpersonal skills required to lead and/or participate in interdisciplinary projects; apply life-long learning to meet professional and personal goals of their chosen profession, including graduate study; articulate and practice professional, ethical, environmental and societal responsibilities, and value different global and cultural perspectives. The college has created a rigorous, challenging, and cutting-edge curriculum that incorporates lectures and laboratory practice in fundamental mathematics, engineering science, engineering design, and the design skills to accomplish the program's goal.
The DARE follows a semester-based system that adheres to the Bologna Process. The study method is based on lectures, reports, study groups, presentations, and laboratory and practical sessions. Students will be taught in a variety of settings, ranging from the classroom to individual or small-group reflection. Our various teaching formats prepare you to be a successful independent learner. Class workloads, midterm exams, final exams, essays, and reports are used to assess students. Students will spend time on independent study, which includes preparation for lectures and seminars, follow-up work, broader reading, practise completion of assessment tasks, and revision.
In the first year of your English Language and Culture Bachelor's program, tuition will be in the form of lectures and tutorials:
Lectures are a way of getting an overview of a large amount of information in a short amount of time; you and your fellow students will be listening to an expert in the field.
Tutorials give you a chance to actively engage with historical issues yourself. You may have to give a presentation or discuss a topic amongst yourself or work on an assignment. There are plenty of opportunities for interaction and for asking questions.
The duration of the study at the DARE is 5 Academic years of full-time studies. Normally, an academic year starts in the first week of September to the end of June next year.
The final year project, as the name implies, is the project you must complete in your last year of study before graduating. If you don't finish the final year project by the deadline, you won't be able to graduate. This project is a formal assignment chosen by the student or small groups of students on a curriculum-related topic that requires out-of-class study and development. Students present their ideas to the rest of the class, the course faculty, and representatives from a variety of local organizations and enterprises at the end of the semester. The Final Research Project of UOD's 5th Year Students teaches you how to prepare your paper (Please click to view the document).
You will meet with your assigned supervisor on a regular basis during your involvement with your research project. These sessions are intended to help you through your project and ensure that you satisfy the work's requirements. You and your supervisor are responsible for keeping a record of your meeting and keeping track of your progress. You may print and fill out a standard UOD supervision form here for each meeting.
