Dr Yousif Jameel Bas is the Head of Department of Civil Engineering (DCVE). He took his office of Oct 2021, and he is responsible for running the academic and administration affairs of DCVE.
Civil engineering is concerned with the design, development, and maintenance of our built environment, which includes everything from buildings to bridges, roads, and railroads, as well as what this implies for the planet's and society's future.
You will be taught by academic staff who are civil engineering professionals in an inclusive learning environment at DCVE. Lectures, tutorial courses, laboratory sessions, and computer-based sessions are among the teaching and learning approaches we employ.
